LGBTIQQ Refugees At Kakuma Camp, Hopeful and Resilient. They Call On You For Support

Young, full of hope, innovative and barrier breakers. Gender benders! They inboxed and asked me to call on friends for support in way I could. We shared Whatsapp numbers and many shed tears are they were recounting their stories. But, they were hopeful that they were about to host the LGBTIQQ Pride at a Refugee camp. Please come to their aid.

LGBTIQQ in Kakuma Refugee Camp, wish to celebrate the first Pride Day this year since under different circumstances. They are asylum seekers who have refused to pout! They are in Kenya because in Uganda, their own families, community members, colleagues and familiar faces could no longer tolerate them because they are gay. Homosexuals! Uganda was on a very fast track to pass a Kill the Gays Bill which has catapulted it in a tumultuous political turmoil. At one time it was  approved by the president and then overturned by courts. As we went to press, Uganda is about to come up with another legislation.

This is their own appeal. No grammatical edits have been made in order to keep their original wording:
