Our Eradication of HIV, TB, Malaria by 2030 Integrating COVID-19 Prevention, Strategic Public Health, Universal Health Coverage (UHC), Livelihood and Housing Stability Strategies   We are known for evidence-based, science-guided and human rights advocacy activities. We hope to cascade our work into the International AIDS Society goals, a body coordinating all HIV prevention and control world-wide.   Recall that the IAS 2016-2020 strategy impacts focused on results: Promote Science; Support Action; and Empower People.   Within each impact area, the strategy outlines 10-year outcomes for the global HIV response that are required to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.   The IAS has developed its 2021-2025 Organizational Strategy with the goal of achieving a resilient, science-based, adequately funded HIV response that respects human rights and responds to the varied needs of people living with and affected by HIV.   It is believed that enablers for the achi...

Image
They are using their spaces to participate in efforts to contribute to self and the development of their society. They are doing it in a unique or as they want to put it, "in a way they feel involved, to contribute to a better world." They found time to interrogate how best they could present their youthful vigour at an international panel. This is how they describe themselves:   "We planned debated, discussed, tried out this and that. Finally a format was created. When we bring our heads together things work out better. We are able to identify what has to be done by whom and when. Team work supports collective input. Join us for a "Changing the Story" Film Festival. We have put up activities on our pages. We are showcasing ways to participate in fulfilled life experiences as well as uniting with Africa against COVID-19. +++ We have various activities going on and this Film Festival is one of them. Soon we shall launch COVID-19 LOSER- a digital campaign as a H...

COVID-19 Africa “Do No Harm” Campaign: LGBTIQQ Identity Path To Incarceration Or Self Determination In Uganda

Image
There is a health alternative and answer to the LGBTIQQ question and self-determination in Uganda. There have to be Strategic Plans supporting dignity, respect, justice, enjoyment of quality life, livelihood, agency, autonomy and self-determination of LGBTIQQ persons in Uganda. Let us  support that approach as well. Is it possible for LGBTIQQ in Uganda to be supported to pursue self-esteem and quality life self-preservation goals? It is their right to dress the way they feel dignifies them. Right? But........but, you are a leader who believes in this narrative. Right? Let us think back. Critical analysis here! You have led LGBTIQQ since the start of activism and indeed your work is commendable. You have won awards, recognition and and accolades. Right? Let us use the same dignity you enjoy to think with a dignity-affirmation lens. "Human rights" are humanised rights when you are arguing a case for universal care, love by parents, denounce persecution, stabilised housing, li...
