Say It Like The Champion Does

Image
Tell your story. Tell it simply but firmly. You are a Champion 🏆❤️. Work harder but make your work effective by ensuring it uplifts not only yourself but others too. Have a plan in mind and ensure the outcomes serve a larger purpose. Your vision will be beneficial to others this way. We promote two important ideals that all humans are created free and dignified. So, to make these ideals practical we created a space where we could put this in practice. This is how we came up with a social support Community Based Organization (CBO) that has served many beneficiaries. We are so glad we contributed to the dignity and self-confidence of many of our beneficiaries through our social safe spaces.

Social Media Platforms Leverage Imagination

Image
Using Social Media Platforms To Enhance Health Promotion and  Advocacy Campaigns Against HIV, TB,Malaria and COVID-19 We involve ourselves into strategic promotion of information, education and communication to raise consciousness about how contributions to quality life goals can optimally be made. Regularly updated social media platforms enable us to provide information that stimulates decision-making. We use the platforms as notice boards though which we connect with readers. Social media platforms are an archive of activities that can be accessed by those who desire to find out what we are engaged in. Social media platforms are reporting tools which can be used to track activities. The platforms are an opportunity to manage what is shared widely, they make interaction possible and provide themes to follow categorically. The routine embedded within such enterprise makes it galvanizing especially if those who were previously stigmatized or discriminated can use the platforms to br...

Refugees Are Humans And Dignified

Image
Refugees are economic contributors whose consumer practices provide money through spending and enterprise start-ups. Refugees live in local host communities and work to sustainably live as contributing members of a vibrant community. This is through increasing the local gross domestic product. Some refugees are skilled in different areas of expertise. That way, they may integrate easily and make potential local economic contribution. Refugees contribute to traditional philanthropy and appropriate altruism when they engage in rasing funds for emergencies such as during this pandemic. The benefits outweigh the fears hosts have about refugees. These fears revolve around wage competition, burdening the social services, food and land scarcity, unsafe living conditions and crowding. Due to different backgrounds, there are likely to be disagreement...

AIDS 40 Years After!

Image
Let Us Talk About AIDS     Alex Berg a freelance on-air host and journalist based in New York City, gives us a glimpse of what it means to know that HIV/AIDS has been devastating our lives for 40 years.     “Sawyer, now 67, recalled being told by a doctor, at just 32, to put his affairs in order.   “In addition to being elated that I have survived for 40 years with this illness, I also have a certain degree of survivor's guilt,” Sawyer, a founding member of AIDS activist group ACT UP New York, told NBC News. “Why me? Why did I deserve to survive when so many of my friends and a couple of my boyfriends died really horrible, ugly deaths at very young ages?”   For Eric Sawyer, the 40th anniversary of the first scientific report that described AIDS as a new disease brings up “a dichotomy of feelings.”   When Sawyer, who was living in New York, first began exhibiting symptoms of HIV in 1981, he said he was urged by...
