Q And A Forum: Is It Possible To Live A Longer Fruitful Life With HIV?

It is true, people living with HIV can live longer, healthy lives with current antiretroviral therapy (ART) if they chose to take their medications regularly.
By taking just one pill a day, HIV has become for many a chronic, manageable condition. However, even with these life saving medications, a pill a day can lead to pill fatigue and serve as a daily reminder of HIV.
On the prevention front, our options have never been better. We currently have daily oral PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), condoms, and U=U (undetectable equals untransmittable).

See what some providers and experts say to see what’s currently on the horizon for HIV treatment and prevention.
